The Amazon disability Union now has over 600 disabled Amazonians Employees who have various disabilities such as:
Our members and our advocacy has helped create a new class action 2:25-cv-00050-JHC with Harman Law. We have many members who are participants and we have provided evidence and proof to help the case gain traction. We are also working with a number of other lawyers at the present on various ways to hold Amazon Accountable
Physical impairments
Chronic illnesses: Cancer, diabetes, heart disease, asthma, HIV/AIDS, multiple sclerosis, and tuberculosis
Sensory impairments: Blindness, low vision, deafness, hearing, and speech impairments
Mobility and orthopedic impairments: Paralysis, orthopedic impairments, muscular dystrophy, and conditions requiring aids like a wheelchair or cane. Spine Disorders
Other physical conditions: Amputation, epilepsy, chronic pain, and some complications from pregnancy
Mental impairments
Mental health conditions: Depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and anxiety disorders
Intellectual disabilities: Includes conditions like intellectual disability and learning disabilities
Other mental and psychological conditions: Autism, organic brain syndrome, and sometimes stress or headaches if they result from a documented disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia
