Here is a screenshot from one of our organizing slack channels showing the posts listed on this thread were removed
Heres a message to disabled Amazonians to thank them for filling out the surveys, adding their voice and to let anyone know they can still add their signature to the petition going to management. The petition was a 33 page letter filled with complaints of discrimination and retaliation under the ADA that Amazon is commiting
This message was an update on the Amazon slack channel letting people with disabilities know the progress with letter that would be sent to management detailing ADA violations on behalf of the over 200 Amazonians. It asked fo feedback on the petition and if anyone wanted additional testimony added to it and ask anyone who wanted to sign their name to the petition to add their vote
After multiple messages were removed disabled Amazonians asked what happened, why they were deleted and were figuring out whether management deleted them. This was a message explaining that yes Amazon management made the decision to remove them and sent warning messages to us telling us to take them down
This was a post on slack sharing how Amazon amazon was trying to silence protected speech by saying our posts violated their solicitation policy. It was naming the director who was responsible for post removals and sharing how it was illegal to remove protected activity. It was encouraging those affected to discuss together for mutual aid and support under the ADA and NLRA. It linked to the 33 page letter that was going to management which discussed violations under the ADA and failure to have an interactive accommodation process. It brought surveys from over 200 Disabled Amazonians and the letter was on behalf of disabled amazonians which is permitted under the ADA as protected activity
This was a post from a disabled Amazonian sharing that they were discussing the 33 page letter with amazonians that detailed ADA violations and that their post was removed
The messages below show disabled amazonians pointing other disabled amazonians to the resources provided by the official Amazon Disability Union with ADA resources, NLRA, EEOC, Legal Guides in finding help, and detailing violation that amazon is commiting under the ADA. These messages were removed over and over again showing that amazon was knowingly removing organizing and unionizing and ADA protected posts
