We are reaching out to gather a dedicated team of volunteers to help us with multiple initiatives aimed at raising awareness and fostering change. Your involvement can make a real difference!

Here are some additional next steps to help each other out and make sure our stories are heard. Do what you feel comfortable doing:

If you see people in similar situations, invite them to contact you outside of work so you can share these resources with them.

• Join Internal Slack groups:

  • #remote-advocacy (not disability specific, but a lot of activity from people facing accommodation issues)

  • #disability-accessibility-issues-at-amazon (a group created specifically for these issues)

  • #ag-amazon-pwd (People with Disabilities affinity group. Unfortunately, the leadership of this group has made it clear they back Amazon
    

• Sign and share the petition on Change.org

• Share your story - it’s very helpful to let others know they aren’t the only ones facing these issues. If you’re comfortable, share your situation on Slack, LinkedIn, or other social media. - You may want to be cautious about how much of the legal situations you share while they are ongoing, but it is probably fine to share that you have a disability and are struggling to get a suitable accommodation.
